CLASS SCHEDULES

Dance class schedules are subject to availability.  Classes may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment.

 

ATTENDANCE & HEALTH

Please make every effort to attend class.  There are no refunds on tuition or make-ups offered due to absence. You are the best judge of your child's health. Please do not bring your child to dance class if they are sick. This is for the protection of all.

 

TUITION

Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. Reminders will be posted in the studio. Cash or checks made payable to "LSSD" are accepted.  A late fee of $10.00 will be assessed if payment is received after the 1st of each month.  Checks returned for non-sufficient funds are subject to a $25 charge.  Please remember that all fees are non-refundable.

 

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

• Kindly use the restroom before class starts.  We ask that you DO NOT allow your child to enter the studio UNTIL the instructor is ready. 

• Please LABEL ALL dance shoes, bags and water bottles with your child’s name.  This will prevent confusion and lost items.  Street shoes are not allowed in the dance studios.

• Please, DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO WEAR DANCE SHOES OUTDOORS.  It will ruin the shoes and our studio dance floors. No street shoes are allowed on dance floors.

• Students may bring WATER ONLY in a closed container to class.

• No gum chewing in class.

• All students must be in proper dance & shoe wear while in class. Hair must be pulled back off the face in bun, ponytail or braid(s).

• Siblings of students are not to be left unsupervised in the playroom or waiting areas. Please do not allow children to touch or play with the TV or VCR. Kindly help us keep the playroom neat by returning all toys and books to the bins, dispose of any trash in proper receptacles and clean up any spills. If you need to dispose of a dirty diaper, please ask the staff for a plastic bag to put the diaper in before placing it in the trash receptacle.

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Studio 1 & 2 will make every attempt to open the studios and hold classes. In the event of a snowstorm, please call the studio at 508-643-0808 or check your e-mail for an update.  We will do our best to offer a make-up class.

DRESS CODE:

For all classes, remove all jewelry. Studs are acceptable for those with pierced ears. Hair must be pulled back away from the face and securely fastened. Ponytails, braids, or buns are all acceptable. Headbands are allowed only if they are secured to the head.

 

NOT ALLOWED: Absolutely no denim of any kind - no jeans, overall, jean skirts, cut-offs, cargo pants, or street pants; no oversized sweatshirts or sweatpants.

 

NOTE: DANCE SHOES SHOULD NEVER BE WORN OUTDOORS! It will ruin your shoes and our studio floors. Students should always carry their dance shoes to class and change into them before class begins.
